Summer road maintenance in the territory of the Prešov self-governing region is carried out in accordance with the approved Specific Plan of summer road maintenance activities for the relevant period, which is drawn up according to valid technical conditions issued by the Slovak Road Administration.
Through its own personnel capacities and technical-mechanization equipment, the Administration and Maintenance of Roads of the Prešov Self-Governing Region performs the following main activities within the framework of summer road maintenance:
• digging ditches
• roadside cleaning
• cutting edges
• gutter cleaning
• tales of potholes
• machine mower
• hand mow
• repair of vertical traffic markings
• installation of road barriers
• implementation of the coating of safety railings
• liquidation of encroached trees and trusses
• installation and repair of road direction posts
