On January 25, 2023, the city of Krakow became the center of an important negotiation dedicated to the improvement and modernization of the transport infrastructure of the Slovak-Polish border.
The working meeting, which was attended by representatives of the road workers of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Subcarpathian Voivodeship and Nowy Targ District Office on behalf of the Polish side, and representatives of the SÚC PSK on the Slovak side, brought important results thanks to several months of joint preparation.
The participants have tentatively agreed on nine Slovak-Polish road projects, which, if approved by the governing body of the Interreg cross-border cooperation program – the Joint Secretariat in Krakow, will be co-financed from EU resources.
