The portfolio of the SÚC PSK agenda, in addition to the implementation of reconstructions, repairs and maintenance of roads II. and III. classes on the territory of PSK and the bridge structures and culverts located on them has recently been expanded to include the management and investment development of cycling infrastructure.
The pilot project of SÚC PSK is the Poloniny trail, within the framework of which the organization started the construction of the first two cycle sections earlier this week – the 18 km long cycling route Starina – the former village of Ruské and the 8 km long route in Stakčín.
Construction work on these cycle sections, the total cost of which is almost 11.2 million. €, will last until April next year.
In addition to the Poloniny trail cycling project, SÚC PSK is simultaneously working on another large international cycling project, The Eurovelo 11, about which we will inform you soon.
