At the beginning of the third week of January, the 34th meeting of the Transport Commission of the Prešov Self-Governing Region was held. Productive and constructive debates on the part of the deputies, representatives of the SÚC PSK and employees of the PSK transport department, which took place at the meeting, resulted in a common consensus.
The members of the commission were informed about:
- of the course of winter maintenance of roads in PSK in the period 2021/2022, on the consumption of sprinkling materials and performed services as of 31.12.2021
- transfers of investment funds from 2021 to 2022 in the amount of approx. 18.3 mil. € within the capital expenditure budget of SÚC PSK
- during the SÚC PSK bridge program for 2022, through which the SÚC PSK plans to develop min. 51 pieces of complete implementation project documentation and reconstruct min. 49 bridge objects
- during the SÚC PSK road program for 2022, the priority goal of which is the elimination of all accident sections recorded on roads II. and III. classes
- the status of projects implemented within the cross-border cooperation programs INTERREG V-A Poland–Slovakia, HUSKROUA – ENI, and the Integrated Regional Operational Program (IROP)
The members of the commission recommended the Board of PSK to approve these proposals:
- for the property-law arrangement of land that is related to the investment activity of SÚC PSK
- to increase the capital expenditure budget of SÚC PSK for the year 2022 by more than €123 thousand, which is connected with the implementation of the investment event “Elimination of safety risks on road II/537”
- proposal to amend the resolutions of the PSK for the year 2021, regarding the “High Tatras Project” and the project “Modernization of road II/536 Spišský Štvrtok – Kežmarok, improvement of traffic mobility in the districts of Kežmarok and Levoča”
