Procedure for processing a request for the establishment of a traffic connection of an access road or entrance to a road. Regarding the connection of land roads, the establishment of entrances from the road or local road to neighboring properties, the modification or cancellation of the connection of land roads and entrances from the road or local road to neighboring properties, the relevant road authority decides with regard to the protection of the affected land road and the safety of road traffic on it administrative authority. Road administrative authority for roads II. and III. classes in the territory of the Prešov self-governing region are District offices, departments of road transport and land communications in individual districts. Therefore, requests for connection of access road or establishment of entrance to road II. and III. classes must be addressed to the road administrative authority in the relevant district. This request must be accompanied by a statement from the relevant traffic inspectorate of the Slovak Republic and the communication manager for the individual area. As for the statement of our organization, on the page of PSK road management and maintenance, www.sucpsk.sk, in the lower part of this section, the form “Application for the establishment of an entrance to the property, or an access road to the property” is published, on which the attachments are listed, which they serve as a basis for preparing the opinion of the communications manager. This statement then serves as a basis for an application to the relevant road administrative authority, which pursuant to Act no. 135/1961 Coll. on Land Communications (Road Act) as amended and according to FMD decree no. 35/1984 Coll., which implements the Act on Land Communications (Road Act), decides on the traffic connection to road II. or III. classes on the territory of the Prešov self-governing region.
